Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Full-Time Urology APP to join its growing team of 3 Urologists and 2 APPs. The Urology APP provides comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic urological conditions in collaboration with urologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The APP evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients in an outpatient setting. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits

Clinical Care
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Kidney stones
Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests including laboratory studies, imaging, and urodynamic testing.
Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
Perform office-based procedures as permitted by training and credentialing, including:
Post-operative care and wound management

Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care.
Provide counseling regarding surgical procedures and post-operative expectations.
Promote adherence to treatment plans and follow-up care.
Collaborate closely with urologists, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
Coordinate referrals, consultations, and continuity of care.
Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Participate in clinical audits and quality assurance activities.
Current state license as an Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Prior experience in urology, surgery, oncology, or primary care preferred but not mandatory
Previous experience with electronic health record
