Riggs is home to the all-occasion European brasserie-inspired restaurant Café Riggs, as well as Silver Lyan – a subterranean bar from the internationally acclaimed Ryan Chetiyawardana, also known as Mr Lyan.**Key Responsibilities*** Welcome guests upon arrival and departure with a professional, friendly attitude.* Assist guests with loading, unloading, and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms.* Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities, services, and room features.* Respond promptly to guest requests, such as delivering packages, messages, or amenities.* Coordinate with the front desk, valet, concierge, and housekeeping to ensure a seamless guest experience.* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and entrance area.* Provide directions and information about local attractions, transportation, and hotel facilities.* Handle guest belongings with care and maintain confidentiality and security.* Deliver outstanding customer service while anticipating guests' needs.**Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.* Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to lift and carry luggage (typically up to 50–75 lbs.)* Professional appearance and demeanor.* Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.* Knowledge of Washington, DC attractions and transportation is an advantage.**Core Skills*** Customer service excellence* Communication* Teamwork* Attention to detail* Problem-solving* Time management* Physical stamina* Professionalism**Compensation:**$17.00 - $19.00 per Hour**Benefits**At Riggs Washington DC we are committed to giving our employees the skills and support required to deliver extraordinary experiences, and most importantly, to grow in their careers.
