Administration-Receptionist (Full or Part Time)

Overview IMMEDIATE Part-Time Receptionist needed! Location: Cambridge, MN 55008 (Onsite Position). Pay: $21.00/hr. Days/Hours: 3 days/week – Monday & Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM plus 1 additional day 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Our client in the consulting industry is looking for a polished and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to support daily office operations and create a welcoming experience for guests and employees. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office setting and handles a variety of administrative and customer-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact by answering and routing incoming calls

Welcome visitors, clients, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy

Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment when necessary

Assist with onboarding tasks for new team members

Process incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, and deliveries

Complete clerical duties including filing, data entry, record maintenance, and audits

Address customer questions and resolve routine concerns in a timely manner

Work closely with internal departments to ensure efficient office operations

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Professional presentation and positive attitude

Highly organized with strong attention to detail

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Discretion and ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to remain composed in busy or high-pressure situations

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required; additional college coursework or degree preferred

Prior experience in reception, administrative support, or customer service preferred

Work Environment

Onsite, full-time environment (note: clarify if the role is truly full-time or part-time as originally stated)

Regular office hours Monday through Friday, with the stated part-time schedule

PTO restrictions may apply during peak business months from June through September
