Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift position. This role requires a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. Candidates must possess an active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for, within the last 12 months.
Certifications
Active BLS certification
Active ACLS certification
NIHSS certification is a plus
Additional Requirements
Background checks will be conducted, and travelers with any open cases will not be accepted.
Must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required.
Completion of BCI/FBI prints is mandatory within 48 hours of signing a contract.
Travelers must remain on assignment for up to 18 months, with a required 6-month break before returning, unless client approval is obtained.
Modules
All travelers must complete required modules prior to starting. The time needed for modules varies by specialty, and up to 4 hours are billable for annual competencies. Additional time needed for pre-start modules will not be compensated.
