Salesperson for Retail Sales

JOB SUMMARY:

Fit Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving store and individual sales goals, and maintaining a presentable shopping environment that meets Journelle’s standards. Job Duties include but not limited to : Greet customers, respond to questions, improve engagement with merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service. Remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to merchandise, sales, promotions, inventory, and store policy. Provide the appropriate level of service and expertise to each client based on their requests. Demonstrates high level of professionalism and appropriateness working with customers in dressing room fittings and while presenting intimate apparel and accessories. Proactively seek opportunities to up sell and add-on additional merchandise, further enhancing the customer’s shopping experience. Meet and exceed sales & service performance goals including but not limited to individual sales, units per transaction (UPT), dollars per transaction (DPT), etc. Build lasting relationship (“clientele”) with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise, and remind them of upcoming events. Straighten, arrange, stock and dust off merchandise, maintain shelving areas as directed and participate in the designing of displays in windows & tables Assess & address all loss prevention issues per the Company’s Loss Prevention” policies and procedures. Open & Close the store according to the Open/Closing list. Maintain a clean and tidy work and retail space during shift Manage and keep track of all outgoing and incoming wardrobe pulls and assist in all wardrobes pulls by stylist. Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent. 1-2 two years’ retail experience preferred. Maintain an energetic and positive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management. Team player who possesses the ability to work in a learning environment. High attention to detail. Ability to work varied hours & days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
