Hospital-based Med Surg

Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients across the lifespan, including birth through elderly, post-surgical, and behavioral health cases

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide quality, cost-effective, and efficient care; Serve as a resource for the care team and assist with coordinating care; supervise unit secretaries and patient care technicians in collaboration with the Charge Nurse

Apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in all patient interactions

Active Alaska RN license in good standing

Graduation from an NLN-approved nursing program

Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCI)

Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination

New graduates accepted; pediatrics and adult experience preferred

Travel assignment with ongoing support from a dedicated recruiter
