Full-time Emergency Medicine Physician
WVUHS is currently seeking a full‑time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Wheeling, WV.

1 Medical Park Drive, Wheeling, West Virginia

Job Summary
Practice medicine with the right people for the right reasons. Provide emergency medical care at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital, a 223‑bed acute‑care facility with a medical staff of nearly 150 primary‑care and specialty physicians.

Responsibilities
Provide emergency medical care to patients in a critical‑access hospital setting and collaborate with a diverse medical staff to deliver primary and tertiary care services.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree

Eligibility to obtain an unrestricted state medical license in Pennsylvania

Completed an accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine

Board‑certified or board‑eligible via the American Board of Medical Specialties in Emergency Medicine (Emergency Medicine Board Certification required)

Schedule and Compensation
40‑hour work week. United States of America (Exempt).
