Advanced Practice Provider (Neurosurgery Clinic)

As our Neurosurgery Advanced Practitioner, you will be a vital member of our neurosurgery care team, specializing in advanced surgical procedures. Every day you will collaborate closely with our Neurosurgery team consisting of two Neurosurgeons and two Advanced Practitioners. Your ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing, will be paramount. We are looking for a highly organized professional who excels in interdisciplinary team collaboration, working seamlessly with nurses, physicians, and allied health staff. This position requires a commitment to medical record accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards, all while providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• No Pediatrics and no Neurovascular
• Projected Volumes: Clinic 40%. Hospital 40% Admin 10% varies when on call rotation

Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Minimum 3 years Neurosurgery PA experience, preferably in an acute setting.
AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
Valid DEA registration
Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
Master's Degree in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners
Surgical First Assist certification
Minimum of 3 years Neurosurgery NP experience, preferably in an acute setting.
Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) Valid DEA registration
Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
