Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team at Cypress, CA to include, but not limited Cypress, Los Alamitos, Anaheim area, Buena Park, Anaheim Hills, Yorba Linda, Placentia, Tustin, Garden Grove, Westminster and other areas throughout our region.Work Schedule: Able to cover hours that vary Monday – Friday 5:00 am – 6:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including some Saturdays and SundaysJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:1 year or more of experience as phlebotomistCalifornia state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)Preferred Qualifications:2 years or more of experience as phlebotomist1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patientsCurrent or Prior experience at LabCorpAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyBilingual with proficiency in Spanish and EnglishProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceAbility to work in fast paced / high volume work environmentsAble to pass a standardized color blindness test.Be at least 21 years of ageValid Driver's License and clean driving recordReliable transportationFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAble to attend 2?week training in CaliforniaAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/patient service center locations. QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metricsPay Range: $23.00-$33.00Float Incentive: plus mileage reimbursement or Plus 2nd/3rd shift differentials (if applicable)All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
