The purpose of the Baby Watch Early Intervention Program (BWEIP) is to enhance early growth and development in infants and toddlers, who have developmental delays or disabilities, by providing individualized support and services to the child and their family. We want your unique abilities to work with children to help them develop various physical abilities and promote growth and development in natural environments where families live, work, and play.

Adhere to and demonstrate Baby Watch Early Intervention core values and purpose in the performance of all aspects to address functional needs of the child (Birth - 3 years) in various developmental domains particularly related to physical development, sensory, motor, and postural development.

Plan and implement physical therapy to promote the family's capacity to care for their child and promote growth and development in natural environments.

Make recommendations to families on developmental skills in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, social and emotional, cognition, speech/language/communication, self-help, and adaptive.

Collaborate with families with an understanding of child development, and infant mental health.

Plans and manages projects and/or programs.

Writes (or discusses) project/program plans, recommendations and findings.

Maintain an assigned caseload incorporating researched based intervention activities into daily routines that best facilitate child and family driven outcomes.

Support families through the transition process before the child ages out of Baby Watch Early Intervention services.

Licensure as a physical therapist in Utah.

Must be able to pass a fingerprinting background check.

Baby Watch Early Intervention Specialist Credential.

Previous Part C early intervention experience.
