Your Responsibilities
This is a weekly hybrid role out of the Beacon, NY office. Must have the ability to be in office at least two days a week.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor contracts, strategic partner agreements, licensing agreements, statements of work, and NDAs.

Assist with corporate governance matters and compliance initiatives, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations.

Provide support to global legal initiatives and group policies through projects directed by Director of Legal & Compliance.

Stay current on relevant laws and industry trends affecting the business, particularly technology sector.

Provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders on all corporate legal matters.

Collaborate with management to align and support corporate strategic initiatives.

Work closely with governance, compliance and risk assessment departments to support processes and adherence.

Manage communications and support from outside counsel when deemed necessary.

What you need to succeed

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Licensed in New York.

Five to seven years of related experience in corporate law, contract negotiation and business transactions.

Strong understanding of commercial transactions, intellectual property, data privacy, and technology law.

A firm grasp of legal terms and conditions to ensure that contracts, regulatory, and license programs meet all legal requirements.

Proven experience in contract management, overseeing the entire life cycle process.

Experience with software and service industry preferred.

Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Acute attention to detail and strong negotiating skills.

Ability to work independently and cross‑functionally.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively.

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Commitment to excellence and high standards. Exercises good judgement.

What we can offer

The pay range is between $136,000 and $160,000 depending on experience.

DocuWare funds $2,000/$4,000 annually towards single/family HDHP deductible.
