Day/Night Rotation Schedule
Collects and documents objective and subjective data and observations about the patient.
Contributes observations and health information to the nursing assessment and reports all data to the RN or authorized directing health care provider.
Implements the current plan of nursing care at the direction of the RN, or the medication or treatment authorized by the authorized directing health care provider.
Documents and verbally communicates the patient’s response to the nursing plan of care or the medication or treatment including observing patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and performing routine laboratory tests.
Contributes to the revision of the nursing plan of care.
Maintains professional growth and development within nursing field.
Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.

Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
If in an ED, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire or within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
If in an ED, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) upon hire or within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
Work Experience:

• One year of patient care experience preferred.
• (Note: PRNs should be in job code G18004, LPN Hospital PRN, are subject to the work experience requirements in that job code)

Personal Protective Equipment:
~ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
