Join our Acute Care Adult Stroke/Neuro Care Unit (6-A West)! Primary Patient Population: Stroke Minor Neurological Disorders Embedded in Neuro Critical Care Unit Primary skills utilized/learned: Neurological patient care; NIHSS Certification for Stroke care Telemetry monitoring Time management, critical thinking, delegating Personnel RN will work with: LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy Number of beds on unit: 12 beds (can flex to 15 beds) Awards or Recognitions the unit has received: Gold Standard of Care for Stroke Patients Stroke Certified MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
