Staff Pharmacist - Full Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Infusion Staff Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy team. This position is ideal for a pharmacist who is passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role includes participation in an on-call rotation to support patient needs outside of normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Review, verify, and dispense infusion medications accurately and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Monitor patient medication therapy and provide clinical recommendations as appropriate.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding infusion treatments and medication management.

Counsel patients and caregivers on medication use, administration techniques, and potential side effects.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Participate in pharmacy quality assurance and medication safety initiatives.

Assist with inventory management and medication procurement.Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Qualifications:

Active Pharmacist license in Texas (Arkansas license preferred or ability to obtain).

Infusion pharmacy experience preferred.

Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Long-term care or specialty pharmacy experience is a plus.
