Virtual CPA

Full-Time CPA – Tax Preparation & Review Brescia McCluskey, CPA is seeking a full-time CPA to join our firm in a hybrid remote/in-office role.

The CPA will primarily be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns for our corporate, trust, and individual clients. This position requires strong tax knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines.

Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns

File federal and state tax returns accurately and timely

Review client tax documents and supporting records

Conduct tax research and apply findings to client situations

Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and required information

Assist with tax planning and compliance

Maintain organized workpapers and client files

Prepare and review payroll (PR) tax returns and related filings

Perform bookkeeping functions, including maintaining accurate financial records

Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness

Qualifications Public accounting or tax preparation experience preferred

Experience with individual, corporate, and trust taxation

Experience with bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and review, and payroll tax filings

Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment

Ability to perform tax research and interpret regulations

Strong organizational and communication skills

Compensation $60,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Arrangement Full-time, hybrid remote and in-office position.
