Part Time Evening Cleaner - (Cleaning)

Cleaner On-Call, Part Time - 2nd Shift Job Description Summary: The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

Responsibilities Clean and maintain floors, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and using light and heavy (commercial type) floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.

Dust and clean furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces; Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors and partitions, and specified windows; Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies, following standard procedures of damp wiping glass surfaces, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet paper dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, and sweeping/mopping/scrubbing floors.

Collect building trash daily, place it in the approved container and designated collection area for removal.

Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connecting walkways/sidewalks as directed.

Perform periodic tasks such as high dusting, leather and wood surface polishing, and wall washing.

Qualifications No previous experience required; basic cleaning responsibilities only.

Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team.

Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, including a portable backpack style vacuum cleaner.
