Our Pearl Street location is looking for a part time line cook that has availability Thursday-Sunday afternoon/evening/

The Line Cook is required to prepare the menu to the standards of service at Chook. They are responsible for the station’s workflow, cleanliness and timeliness of preparation so all guests receive their food on time. Line Cooks will be trained on multiple stations, Hot Apps, Salads and Rotisserie.

Reports to: Restaurant Management

Full-Time (30 to 40 hours/week) or Part-Time (15 to 29 hours/week)

Hourly: minimum of $20/hour - which is a combination of base hourly pay and tip pool percentage

Performance Expectations of Line Cook:

Correctly prepares food with Chook's standards of service.

Reports food waste to restaurant management.

Maintains a clean workstation and restaurant while on shift.

Performs pre-shift side work duties, running side work throughout shift, and closing or end of shift side work with attention and care.

Knows how to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Adheres to food safety regulations at all times.

Fills in any role that may be needed during a shift.

Appropriately asks for help when necessary.

Follows all health code and proper food handling standards.

Arrives on time for all shifts in a clean uniform with good personal hygiene.

Strong personal organization skills.

Enjoy helping and serving other people.
