Temp/Travel -Registered Nurse (RN) HOME HEALTH (Nights)

Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Amsterdam, NY. Weekly pay ranges from $1,725 to $1,847 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Working in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. This is a Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Weekly pay: $1,725–$1,847 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Facility/work setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital

Provide direct patient care to Med Surg patients, including monitoring, assessments, and care planning.

• Administer medications, manage IVs, wound care, and pain control per physician orders.
• document care in the electronic health record; implement and adjust care plans.
• Monitor for changes in patient condition, respond appropriately, and escalate to the charge nurse or provider as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including fall prevention and timely discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum 2 years Med Surg nursing experience
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience; Ability to work 3x12 night shifts; Local candidates within 50 miles considered with a bill rate adjustment
• Nursing degree (RN)
