Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night and Day rotating shifts available: 3x12-Hour shifts per week from 19:00 - 07:30 or 07:00 - 19:30. Shifts may be variable based on the operational needs of the hospital.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing care for patients in the Med/Surg Tele unit, with the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED as necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs looking to contribute to patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on telemetry.
Monitor patient vitals and report any changes in health status.
Administer medications as prescribed and ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create effective care plans.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
Participate in shifts that cover every other holiday.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of combined permanent nursing experience in the specialty.
• 18 months of recent experience specifically in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Active Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
