CNA - Care Center - Night Shift, Part Time

Description We’re a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in beautiful Bend, Oregon. We provide compassionate transitional and post-hospital care to help our residents regain their strength, independence, and confidence as they work toward returning home or transitioning to their next stage of care. We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our caring and dedicated team.
Part Time Schedule Fridays & Saturdays 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

$1.00-$1.50 shift differentials for Evening and Overnight shifts

Administers and documents medications in the indicated dosage at the correct time, via the desired route
Takes resident's vital signs, keeps records and monitors for side effects.
Reports any changes in a resident’s vital signs or behavior or any other indication of adverse effects from a medication to the Charge Nurse.
Ensures punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
Maintains resident/patient confidentiality.
Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacological terminology.
Requirements Education Graduate of a CMA program required.
Experience Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
