Millwright/Industrial Maintenance- Night Shift

Job Description Industrial Maintenance Millwright (Job will be assigned at New Hire Orientation and is based on the production needs at that time.)

Shift: Most openings are 2nd & 3rd Shift

What You'll Do Coordinate, participate in, and assist with the construction, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of production and operational equipment.

Maintain and repair machines that utilize hydraulic and pneumatic controls used in the production of cast iron pipe and fittings.

Assist the supervisor with planning, scheduling, and assigning maintenance tasks.

Order necessary parts and materials from the warehouse or purchasing department to support equipment installation and upkeep.

Locate, diagnose, and repair issues within mechanical systems and equipment.

Work safely with electrical hand tools, power tools, and various measuring and testing instruments.

Read, interpret, and help others understand detailed blueprints and technical drawings.

Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns to identify root causes and restore operations while minimizing downtime.

Always follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicate completed work and equipment status to your supervisor, the next shift, and the maintenance scheduler.

Qualifications Have verifiable and consistent work experience.

Pass a written exam to demonstrate knowledge of various millwright topics. (Ability to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems malfunctions.

Understanding of the correct handling and use of mechanical repair tools and equipment.

Willingness to work when needed and to help and volunteer across a variety of different machines.
