About the Role Essity is looking for an experienced indirect buyer who will be responsible for executing and implementing procurement strategy in area of responsibility and building sustainable relationships with suppliers
The ideal candidate should/could live in Dover, DE.
What You Will Do Manage risk and lead negotiations for all local categoriesacross locations, using appropriate e-sourcing tools and techniques. Ensuring appropriatecontingency plans are in place in accordance to procurement policies and procedures.
To support Business Partnering to drive continuous improvement through cost saving projects, organizing trials, implementing supplier changes and tracking savings
Ensure compliance with Essity procedures, purchasing policy and financial instructions
Execute and implement procurement strategy in area of responsibility
Building sustainable relationships with suppliers
Approve supplier request and ensure supplier compliance with local categories
Ensure an up-to-date source list (Contract/ Catalog /Purchase Info Records) for local suppliers
Contribute to Procurement Excellence
Who You Are A bachelor degree with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, technical background, procurement, or comparable professional education,
3+ years of experience in similar or adequate role in procurement environment
