Warehouse Operator – Days

Time Type: Full Time

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include but are not limited to loading or unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality, and to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.

Shipping Responsibilities

Use a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack products or materials, efficiently and accurately loading orders according to the appropriate doors and trailers per the Standard Operating Procedures.

Use a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, move product, replenish, stack and store products or materials, and accurately locate and place products in the appropriate storage areas per the Standard Operating Procedures.

Picking Responsibilities

Use a gas or electric powered forklift to accurately pick orders, stage, package, band, shrink wrap, and label product(s) as determined by client requirements per the Standard Operating Procedures.

Quality Control Responsibilities

Use documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly, verify quality standards, report damages or discrepancies, and handle packing and labeling as required per the Standard Operating Procedures.

Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance

Execute all safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, and assist in warehouse security.

Equipment Operation

Operate forklifts and other equipment including sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master, or pallet jack.

Maintain equipment, perform daily inspections, minor maintenance, and report problems.

Operate equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed methods.

Maintain an active forklift certification.

Maintenance

Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.

High school diploma or GED.

6 months experience in a logistics, distribution or relevant environment.

Ability to operate material handling equipment.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

Completion of a forklift training program.

Computer Skills

Basic computer skills.

Language Skills

English (reading, writing, verbal).

Basic to intermediate level for verifying quantities, counting inventory, and related tasks.

Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.

1–3 years’ experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.

1–3 years of forklift experience.

Expected base pay rate: $23.93 per hour, with actual compensation determined by job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
