Job Summary McKeel Academy of Technology is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused High School Math Teacher to join our outstanding instructional team. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, fosters a positive learning environment, and inspires students to develop strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC . AP bonus schedule is superior! $100/3, $200/4 and $300/5!

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction for high school students.

Teach mathematics courses that may include Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus, based on school needs.

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments and use data to guide instruction.

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.

Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student achievement.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student progress and classroom expectations.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and collaborative planning activities.

Utilize instructional technology to enhance student learning and engagement.

Uphold all school policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Qualifications Valid Florida Educator Certificate in Mathematics (or eligibility to obtain certification prior to employment).

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Strong classroom management and instructional skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Successful completion of a Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening prior to employment.

Preferred Experience teaching AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC .

Experience teaching high school mathematics.

Familiarity with technology-integrated instruction and student-centered learning strategies.

Experience preparing students for Advanced Placement examinations.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of high school mathematics curriculum and Florida standards.

Ability to motivate students to achieve academic success.

Effective instructional planning and classroom organization.

Collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous professional growth.
