Job Summary:

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Martinsville, Virginia. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care in the emergency department of a full-service, acute-care hospital that serves all ages. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The shift is night-time, with a minimum guaranteed schedule of 36 hours per week commencing on 07/28/2026.

Job Details:

Position: RN in the Emergency Department

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts

Schedule: Weekly guaranteed hours of 36

Required Qualifications: Licensure and certifications required to work as an RN in Virginia, including ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course).

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with emergency room settings, common diagnoses such as Chest Pain, CHF, COPD, and Psych.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: All travelers must have the required certifications prior to start. The facility requires consent for random drug screening and completion of a criminal questionnaire/consent form. Random drug screens are completed on-site.
