Overview
Radiometer, a Danaher operating company, is engaged in life sciences, diagnostics, and biotechnology. We are seeking a Value Stream Buyer to support procurement functions and ensure the reliable supply of production parts.
Responsibilities
Ensure the availability of production parts while minimizing inventory carrying costs and exposure.
Interact with colleagues in production to proactively solve stock issues and improve processes.
Support on‑time delivery and inventory reduction through the implementation of Supplier Quality Management and Dynamic Kanban systems, and negotiate supplier Kanban implementation.
Proactively provide supply status, resolve availability issues, and provide tracking information to internal customers.
Recommend and implement Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to drive continuous process improvements in on‑time delivery, cost savings, and inventory reduction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Experience with Excel, ERP/MRP, SAP.
Strong communication and negotiation skills working with vendors.
Preferred Experience
Experience in procurement and/or production planning in a manufacturing environment.
Experience communicating with production operations.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Toyota Production System, and/or DBS tools.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $59,000 – $70,000. The role may also be eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
