Job Responsibilities

Manage and educate students while helping them discover and fulfil their potential (Student Success)

Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans (Student Success)

Document and share student grades and evaluations (Student Success)

Cultivate a creative learning environment and maintain a safe, inviting, and nurturing space for students, staff, and the community (Safety & Well-Being)

Takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities (Safety & Well-Being)

Available to students and parents for education-related purposes outside the regular instructional day when required or requested under reasonable terms (Community Connection)

Foster positive relationships with students, teachers, parents, and community members (Community Connection)

Maintain accurate and complete records required by law, District policy, and administrative regulation (Stewardship of Community Resources)

Requirements
A valid intern, provisional, or standard Arizona Teaching Certificate; or possess the necessary qualifications to become certified in the state of Arizona. Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Specialized teaching assignments may require additional training and/or certification.

Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Must be able to pass a background clearance check.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid government issued ID.

May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds.

May be required to lift students weighing up to 60 pounds.

May be required to work outside normal working hours.

May be required to travel to perform work functions.
