Nurse (Health Care)

Kettering Health Network

Provide quality nursing care, education, treatment and support to patients, staying attuned to the needs of their supporters as well. Serve as a patient advocate as they strive to have their health care needs addressed. Patient care duties include: preparing patients and exam rooms for physician consultation, taking medical history and vitals, conducting patient testing, monitoring results, and ongoing patient observation prior to, during, and following administration of treatment, assisting physician in special procedures to include minor surgery

Medical records: Inputs, retrieves and interprets data from patient charts (paper and EMR) in a timely manner. Participates in continuing education and nursing education activities both within and outside the network. Accountable for professional development within scope of care as defined by law. Associate's degree (or equivalent experience) required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.

Ohio,United States]Registered NurseCurrent licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio.

Previous nursing experience preferred. Electronic medical records experience (preferably EPIC) preferred. Advance Cardiovascular Life Support may be required depending on specialty area and level of care provided at the practice.
