Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant, located in New Bedford, MA. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting attorneys with various tasks, including document preparation, client communication, and case management. The individual will also handle administrative functions to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
What You'll Do Draft, edit, and organize legal documents and correspondence.
Help manage calendars, schedule meetings, and track important deadlines.
Support other administrative needs.
What We’re Looking For 2-3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
Tech-savvy: comfortable with Microsoft Office and (ideally) legal software.
A great communicator, both in writing and in person.
Qualifications Document Preparation and Case Management
Proficiency with office software and legal databases
Prior experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field is a plus
Familiarity with federal and state court procedures, filings, and legal terminology
