Assembly Welder, Production Welding

The Welder is responsible for fabricating, fitting, and welding metal components and assemblies according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards. This role plays a critical part in producing high-quality products that meet customer expectations for safety, performance, and appearance. Welders are expected to work as Team Members, contributing to a safe, efficient, and continuously improving manufacturing environment.

Abide by the company’s Quality Management System

Prioritize customer satisfaction and maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Protect the company’s assets, reputation, goodwill, and marketplace stature at all costs

Perform welding operations using appropriate processes (MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, or Stick, as applicable)

Fit, tack, and weld metal parts and assemblies to required tolerances

Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance; Accurately complete required production and quality documentation

Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality, and fellow Team Members

Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs

Prior welding or fabrication experience preferred (manufacturing environment a plus)

Welding certification(s) preferred but not required (training may be provided)

High school diploma or GED preferred

Basic computer, email, and web skills

Ability to complete electronic documentation and training modules

Mechanical aptitude and ability to visualize finished assemblies

Read, speak, and write English clearly
