Feeder - 1st Shift

This position will be responsible for assisting the Pressman on processes regarding make-ready, operations and maintenance of the printing press, in doing so efficiently, safely and accurately.

Troubleshoot feeders to ensure board is properly loaded
Ability to read and follow job specifications to determine press set-up materials needed to run the job successfully
Adjusts press machine parts, such as feeder and delivery mechanisms, suction grippers, guides, feed wheels, jogging devices, tapes, and cams, using hand tools.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred
Must be able and willing to work 12-hour shifts

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. MECHANICAL

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Company issued Fork Truck Operator’s License

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
One year of professional working experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment

Schedule is 12-hour continuous operations (7 pm - 7 am).
Employees are required to work overtime including up to 12-hour shifts.
Employees must have the ability to work alternate schedules and overtime that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends for coverage and be punctual while doing so.
