Spiritual Counselor - The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Join our team in "Doing the Most Good" as a Spiritual Counselor at our Adult Rehabilitation Center. Working 2nd shift, you'll provide spiritual guidance and counseling to individuals facing various challenges including addiction, homelessness, and other life difficulties. This role is crucial in supporting our beneficiaries' recovery journey through spiritual guidance and rehabilitation planning.
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Status: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week
Occasional evenings and/or weekends required

Assess and address spiritual needs of beneficiaries
Maintain detailed case notes in Service Point database
Coordinate with community agencies for additional services

Maintain secure online beneficiary files
Document service delivery and program outcomes
Required Qualities
Deep desire to help people experience Christ
Personal testimony of God's faithfulness
Ability to manage confidential information
Meaningful work in spiritual care
Regular training and workshops
Close vision abilities for computer work
Office environment with minimal noise
Travel
Less than 10% travel for retreats and conferences
