Registered Nurse (RN)
The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide compassionate and professional patient care. This role requires utilizing the nursing process to deliver comprehensive care to all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care activities, ensuring adherence to established nursing practices and protocols.
Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments to enhance patient comfort and well-being.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
Maintain patient rights and confidentiality regarding all patient information.
Perform duties in alignment with organizational mission, values, and service standards.
Qualifications
Current RN License in the state of Missouri or eligibility for licensure in Missouri.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of inpatient Med Surg experience is required.
Experience in patient care with a focus on trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities is a plus.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Standing and walking for extended periods is necessary.
Physical demands include bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance.
Ability to push, pull, grip, kneel, crouch, and crawl may be required.
May be required to work varied shifts or schedules depending on patient care needs.
High-risk exposure to blood and bodily fluids is expected.
Additional Information
The selected candidate will be expected to attend an orientation on the day shift. All travelers must comply with flu vaccination requirements. The position may require weekend work. Auto offers are contingent upon facility approval and may be retracted within a specified timeframe.
