Telehealth Triage Nurse (Remote)

Working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone, the Clinical Intake/Triage Nurse will manage patient onboarding and follow-up care for alcohol use disorder, ensuring effective screening, education on treatment options, and coordination with clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

Welcomes patients and conducts screenings for alcohol use disorder to determine program eligibility

Educates patients on treatment processes, including breathalyzer use and medication expectations

Completes initial nursing intake and schedules appointments while maintaining communication with healthcare providers

Required qualifications

Active RN license, with preference for a compact and California license

3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in addiction medicine

At least one year of telemedicine experience preferred

Strong understanding of addiction pharmacology and harm reduction strategies

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism
