The Receptionist at our Vineyard Community Center is a full-time position that plays a key role in ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment for our guests whether in person, on the phone or through electronic communications.

Working closely with the Community Engagement Manager, they will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, instructors, and program participants through effective communication, information, connection, compassion and care. They will use computer programs & systems for ministry support, hospitality, and safety and security.

This role is best suited for professionals who are excited to use their administrative and customer service centered skills to engage with the community and contribute to a collaborative, ministry-focused team culture.

This person is energized by collaborative settings, they communicate clearly, and bring a positive, flexible attitude to the changing rhythms of ministry. They thrive in multi-cultural, multi-generational environments, and seek to create unique invitational experiences for guests to build a bridge between the Vineyard Community Center and Vineyard Columbus church experience.

Most importantly, this individual demonstrates a genuine love for Jesus, a commitment to personal spiritual growth and a desire to help others experience God through church services and events.

Previous professional experience in reception and/or customer service, administrative support preferred

Strong writing and editing skills

Ability to appropriately handle confidential information

Language skills in Spanish and/or French - preferred

Strong knowledge of common office software and database use

Experience with MS Office Suite
