Position – Part-Time Usher

Facility Name: Sames Auto Arena

Location: Laredo, Texas

Department: Events

Reports to: Director of Operations and Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Be on time. Wear a clean, presentable uniform and be ready at your call time.

Smile, make eye contact, and be courteous.

Be proactive – approach guests and greet them warmly: Hello, may I show you to your seat?

Escort guests to their seats whenever possible.

Inspect your area prior to an event to ensure it is clean and presentable.

Check each ticket thoroughly, noting date, section, seat, and row number.

Receive and act upon guest complaints, referring unresolved issues to your supervisor.

Know the location of your supervisor at all times.

Keep aisles clear of people.

Politely inform guests where smoking is allowed.

Notify your supervisor when spills or accidents occur in your section.

When observing a guest with unauthorized contraband, contact your supervisor immediately if your polite request is met with resistance.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience required.

Bi‑lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must.

Must be 18+ years old to apply.
