CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

This is precision repair and overhaul work on aircraft engine and propeller components, not repetitive production machining. J & S Plating and Repair operates an FAA Part 145 repair station in Grand Prairie, where setups, workholding, and machining strategy matter as much as running the cycle, and every job can bring a different challenge. We're looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who enjoys solving machining problems and wants to help develop better repair processes over time, working on close-tolerance aerospace components rather than the same part day after day.

Your primary responsibility is setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture and repair precision aerospace components.

Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections

Machine close-tolerance aerospace components

Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience

Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes

Ability to inspect your own work using precision measuring equipment

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

CAD Certification

English language proficiency

Conversational or G-code programming experience

Aerospace machining experience

Process improvement experience

Pay starts at $25.00 per hour and increases based on experience. This is a full-time, day-shift position paid bi-weekly.

J & S Plating and Repair is an FAA Part 145 repair station in Grand Prairie, Texas, specializing in the repair and overhaul of aircraft engine and propeller components, with a dedicated plating facility in Farmersville. The shop's capabilities include CNC machining, precision grinding, NDT inspection, shot peening, specialized coatings, and electroplating, supporting major aviation customers and engine programs.
