Full-Time Paramedic Opportunity

Despite heart disease being the leading cause of death in the US, most physicians and patients do not have access to the leading technology in Cardiology. At CII, our mission is to create a more accessible healthcare system by enabling all physicians to treat their patients with the most advanced technology all from the comfort of their own practice. As we continue to grow, we currently have a tremendous opportunity for a Full-Time Paramedic who is up for the challenge. This position does require some overnight travel.

The Registered Nurse/Paramedic will oversee the practical aspects of the pharmacologic stress test while assisting the Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Prepares patient for stress testing procedure; including patient interviews, obtaining medical history, obtaining patient consent and required signatures, and conducting patient teaching related to nuclear imaging procedure, including risks and complications.

Sets up and monitors patient through 12 lead EKG stress testing including application of 12 lead EKG monitor pads and application leads.

Under the direct supervision of the site physician, applies ACLS algorithms if patients experience complications or cardiac arrest during procedure including administration of resuscitation pharmacological agents, oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal airway placement.

Completes daily paperwork at customer site to include obtaining physician signature(s), photocopying, scanning, etc.

Maintains inventory of supplies and drugs at hub and on mobile unit.

Complies with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety and environmental standards.

Overnight travel required.
