SYSTEMS ENGINEERING AND ANALYSIS

i3 is seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to design, develop, and optimize advanced radar systems for defense applications. The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge radar technologies, from initial concept through deployment, ensuring systems meet stringent performance, reliability, and performance requirements.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, geographic location, and any applicable laws.
Support the development of system requirements and specifications for radar performance parameters
Support the planning and execution of comprehensive testing protocols for radar system validation
Analyze test data and generate detailed performance reports
BS or MS degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
- Proficiency in radar principles including waveform design, signal processing, and target detection
- Strong background in RF/microwave engineering
- Experience with simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink)
- Knowledge of digital signal processing and real-time embedded systems
- Proficient with RF test equipment (e.g. spectrum analyzer)
Experience with digital signal processing in radar applications
- MATLAB application in simulation and data analysis
- Experience supporting anechoic chamber operations
Security Clearance:
~ Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
