Warehouse Material Handler - Forklift Required

Express Employment Professionals Defunct

We have an opening for a Forklift Operator/Material Handler position working at a warehouse located in Decatur, AL . This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.
Proven experience as forklift operator.

Valid certification to operate forklifts.

Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts including stand-up reach trucks.

Strong mechanical knowledge of equipment maintenance.

Ability to perform order picking accurately and efficiently.

Familiarity with basic math for inventory counting and tracking.

Load or Unload materials from vehicles; Visually inspect all material during and after unloading process.

Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.

Catalog data with appropriate labels for ease of reference.

Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.

Inspect machinery by performing daily inspections.

Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment of the facilities.

Willing to assist in manual production duties as needed in the warehouse.
