I'm working with a nationally respected plaintiff-side litigation practice seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who wants significant responsibility, meaningful trial experience, and the chance to advocate for plaintiffs in complex, high-stakes litigation.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a litigation associate who is passionate about representing individuals, businesses, and organizations in impactful cases. The practice is known for handling sophisticated plaintiff-side matters, often involving significant legal and societal issues, and offers associates hands-on experience rarely found at larger defense-oriented firms.
You'll work closely with accomplished trial lawyers and play a meaningful role in all phases of litigation, from case investigation through trial and appeal.
What You'll Do

Manage and support complex plaintiff-side commercial and civil litigation matters.
Conduct pre-filing investigations and case evaluations.
Draft complaints, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.
Handle written discovery and complex ESI matters.
Take and defend depositions.
Collaborate with expert witnesses and consultants.
Prepare for and participate in mediations, hearings, bench trials, and jury trials.
Work on appellate matters as needed.
Serve in first-chair and second-chair capacities as experience and case needs allow.

• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Courtroom experience and comfort appearing before judges.
• Experience managing complex discovery and electronic discovery (ESI).

• Federal judicial clerkship experience is a plus, but not required.
