- EPIC charting experience
Description:
Position involves working as a GI/Endo Registered Nurse.
Shifts are Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.
Some weekend call and one night of call every 7-12 days are required.
Skills necessary include experience in inpatient and outpatient endoscopy settings.
Familiarity with portable bedside travel cases, balloon dilators, and bronchoscopy supplies is essential.
Experience with various scopes such as bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, EGD scopes, and endoscopic ultrasound scopes is required.
Candidacy requires knowledge of infection control protocols and high-level disinfection processes.
Candidates must be capable of assisting with biopsies, procedure setup, and closing rooms at the end of the day.
Restocking supplies and instrument processing and cleaning are also part of the role.
Experience in handling pathology specimens and cytology specimens is advantageous.
Other responsibilities include performing colonoscopies, EGDs, and endobronchial ultrasound procedures.
Candidates should be prepared to work in a collaborative environment and adhere to universal protocols.
Traveler experience is permissible for first-time candidates.
Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
This role involves floating as needed.
