Full Time Physiatrist Needed

This role requires a skilled professional to provide critical rehabilitation services to patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries and surgeries. Stay Graceful PT Clinic, located in the vibrant community of Fort Myers, Florida, is committed to delivering high-quality physical therapy services. This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, where interdisciplinary teamwork is emphasized. Your work schedule will be Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories and performing specialized assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Explain evaluation findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, ensuring they are actively involved in goal-setting for their rehabilitation.
Demonstrate proficiency in delivering tailored treatment services using appropriate techniques such as manual therapy, exercise therapy, and modalities based on evaluation results.
Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, recognizing when to adjust care plans based on patient progress and feedback.
Participate in community outreach and marketing events to promote preventive health measures and raise awareness of our clinic’s services.
Act as a clinical instructor for students, helping to shape the next generation of physical therapists through hands-on training.

You will primarily serve a diverse client base of patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, sports-related injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. Your role will directly impact their recovery journey, ensuring they regain their function and improve their quality of life.

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
Active state licensure in Physical Therapy is required.
Current certification in American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

While prior work experience is not mandatory, any clinical exposure to outpatient physical therapy settings, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation, will be viewed favorably. Continuous education and specialized training in evidence-based treatment modalities will serve to enhance your contribution to our patients.
