Lab Tech Sampler (Temp)

Job Description Laboratory Technician
3 Days one week / 4 days the next (12-hr shifts) with every other weekend off.

The Lab Technician will be responsible for providing technical support for the production departments.
Complete mechanical and dimensional testing of metal samples following work instructions and ASTM specifications.
Prepare and analyze solid metal samples for chemical composition.
Enter data accurately and completely to record test results and communicate those results to required parties. Maintain associated databases as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance and calibration to keep test equipment in good working order.
Maintain retention sample inventory for required intervals.
Support Quality and R&D departments with special testing protocols.
Associate Degree in Science-related field, and/or 3 years of laboratory experience; General understanding of PCs and related software experience.
Proper use of testing equipment.
