Registered Nurse (RN), Ambulatory Surgery, Full Time,

This is a Full Time, benefited PreOp/PACU position working at Scripps Jefferson Clinic in Oceanside. No weekends or call. The varied 4 day, 10 hour shift starts between 6:15 am‑7:30 am and equals 80 hours per 2‑week pay period.

Responsibilities

Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.

Provide direct patient care to high‑acuity patients in a complex department within the scope of practice.

Engage in complex clinical procedures and may provide clinical assessments to surgical patients in the hospital setting.

Perform patient care tasks, including patient assessments, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols, and medication administration, in compliance with applicable guidelines.

Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Eligibility and Incentives
This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $7,000.

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

Internal candidates

Rehires who left Scripps less than 3 years ago

Candidates with less than 1 year of experience as an RN

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

Remain in the original hired FTE status and shift (if specified in the offer letter)

Remain in the original department/specialty

Remain in the original job title

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and may result in forfeiting the remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
