Your expertise will help ensure that special education processes move smoothly, and that every ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meeting is prepared, compliant, and collaborative.Key Qualifications and Experience:Certification as a special education teacher with significant experience facilitating ARD meetings and handling special education paperwork.Deep understanding of ARD procedures, required documentation, and special education compliance.Ability to coordinate schedules, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders including families, teachers, administrators, and service providers.Strong organizational skills to independently manage caseloads and travel between campuses as an itinerant facilitator.Educational diagnostician certification is not required for this position.Primary Responsibilities:Coordinate, schedule, and facilitate initial, annual, reevaluation, and revision ARD meetings efficiently.Prepare, review, and finalize ARD documentation in Frontline, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.Communicate and collaborate with families, campus teams, and related service providers to ensure all procedural safeguards, notices, and timelines are met.Manage follow-up tasks and maintain detailed records for assigned campuses, supporting compliance throughout the district.You will thrive in an itinerant role, where your flexibility and professionalism support multiple schools and diverse student needs.
