Our Millwork Estimator is responsible for completing accurate and thorough takeoffs and proposals in Commercial and Residential construction.
Responsibilities
Review and understand architectural drawings.
After determining scope of work, complete accurate and detailed takeoffs using Microsoft Excel.
Organize all information necessary for the bidding process, including specifications, plans, and a list of the products to be bid, and distribute info to appropriate vendors for bidding quotations.
Follow up with contractors and suppliers to ensure bids are complete and submitted in a timely manner.
Experience and Skills
Experience estimating Commercial and Residential construction.
Thorough knowledge of millwork, veneer and cabinet related materials and their corresponding hardware.
Must be proficient with Excel spreadsheets.
Qualified candidate will be capable of working in a fast‑paced environment responding to deadlines for quotes and assisting Project Managers throughout the bidding process.
