Active Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our expanding multispecialty team of Chiropractors, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners and Exercise Specialists to be the liaison between providers and patients by explaining prescribed treatment, reviewing insurance benefits and financial responsibility to patients. The position includes 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. At Active Spine and Joint Institute we are a multidisciplinary Chiropractic, Rehabilitation and Medical team that provides drug-free, non-surgical treatments to get our patients out of pain and active again! We have been in operation for over 34 years with four offices located in South Jersey area and continuing to expand!

Review insurance coverage and patient financial responsibility with patients.
Prepare patient financial agreements based on prescribed treatment plan.
Review all financial obligations with the patient and set up payment plan when required.
Coordinate with the insurance department for scheduling patient procedures once pre-authorization from the insurance company is approved.
Ensure patient paperwork prior seeing the healthcare provider on re-evaluation day.
Review patient travel card and make sure all prescribed services and products are received by the patient and charges are entered.
Participate as an active part of morning huddles and weekly team meetings providing patient updates and information.
