Your primary responsibility is to provide compassionate care and services within the scope of CNA certification, adhering to established policies and procedures to ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations. In our patients' homes, you become a beacon of support, offering personal care and light household services that go beyond the physical aspects of care. Apply now to be a part of a team that values compassion, excellence, and dedication to the highest standard of care.Delaware Hospice is an equal-opportunity employer.QualificationsTo excel in this role, you will possess:Two years of experience in a hospital, extended care facility, home care, or hospice setting (preferred).Certification within the State of Delaware as a Nurse Aide or completion of a 75-hour training course and required competency testing.Nursing students completing one academic year inclusive of direct patient care will be considered if certification requirements are fulfilled.Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the dying patient.Comfort working in an environment where blood, body tissue, and fluids exposure may occur regularly, following all healthcare industry safety guidelines.
