Job Description
ROLE - SPECIALTY: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Nurse
Schedule:

Night shift
Shift options: 36 or 48 hours per week
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details:
- Unit type: LDRP (Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum) with couplet care
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Required certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE
Charting system experience: Epic

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide care for laboring patients and conduct couplet care for mother and newborn.
Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-section recovery.
Perform newborn assessments and thermoregulation.
Offer breastfeeding and lactation support, including care for neonatal hypoglycemia.
Participate in obstetrical triage as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

Licensure: Pending state or compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start).
Local applicants within a 50-mile radius are not accepted.
Previous facility staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
